PIRATE COIN FORGING AT WHALE PARK!
Watch "Silverstrike" Steve of the Black Spot Guild as he forges solid silver pirate coins using the same method they used in the 1600s.
Steve is one of only a couple smiths in the entire world that practices the lost art of forging "pirate" Silver using the ancient technique. Using only a forge, anvil, and basic hand tools, watch as he melts pure silver and then transforms it into the famous "pieces of 8" pirates were always after!
Pick up a ready-made silver coin or have him forge you a special one on the spot!

Cod Fish Race
Join us for one of Windjammer Days most famous (and infamous) events! The first member of 4-person pod hops into fishermen’s oilskins and rubber boots, grabs up two slimy fish and races around a crowd-lined short course. Then, they pass their attire and fish on to the next teammate and so on until the race is complete. The fastest time takes home a $100 cash prize and spectators enjoy endless laughs!
Please arrive at the starting line (by the Whale Park) 15 minutes before 2:00pm race start time and bring your completed entry form with you. First 10 pods to sign in in person at the start line will compete. Don’t be late or you might miss your chance for everlasting glory — which is a small price to pay for really slimy, smelly hands!
No online entries accepted the day of the race. On race day you must register in person.
